Number of ways of dividing n different things into 2 groups

Number of ways of dividing m+n different things into two groups containing m and n things respectively 

is given by    \[ ^{m+n}C_{m}\]=\[\frac{(m+n)!}{m!n!}\]

For example- No of ways of dividing 10 different things into  groups of 6 boys and 4 girls  is given by

                      \[\frac{(10)!}{6!4!}\]=210

Boundary condition -  m\[\neq \]n
