1.कानून के संबंध में ब्रिटिश संसद सर्वोच्च या संप्रभु है लेकिन भारत में संसद की कानून बनाने की शक्ति सीमित है।
2. भारत में संसद के किसी अधिनियम के संशोधन की संवैधानिकता से संबंधित मामलों को सर्वोच्च न्यायालय द्वारा संवैधानिक पीठ को भेजा जाता है।
